What's new in 1.1

Version 1.1 is about access: you choose per options page who can edit it.

Choose who can edit a page

The select User access level, with Administrator and Editor, is replaced by Who can edit. Check per page the roles that can open it and change its values: Editor, Author, Shop manager of WooCommerce, or a role you made yourself. Administrators can always open every page. See Who can edit.

Access for one user

Role plugins such as Members and User Role Editor list a capability per options page, so you can give a single user access to a single page. See One user, one page.

Roles in import and export

An export contains the roles of every page. The import warns you when a page has a role that does not exist on the site you import it on. See Import and export.

Updating from 1.0

Your menus, pages, fields and values are kept, and the requirements are the same as for 1.0: PHP 8.1 and WordPress 6.9 or later.

Pages of 1.0 keep their access. When you open a page with the level Editor in the editor, the roles that have the capability of an editor now are checked; save the menu once to store them. See Pages made with 1.0.
