Bug reports and ideas

Found a bug, or have an idea for the plugin? Open an issue in the issues repository on GitHub. Tips and ideas are welcome too.

A good bug report has:

  • the versions of WordPress, PHP and Admin Options Pages;
  • the steps to see the problem;
  • what you expected and what happened instead;
  • errors from the browser console or the PHP error log, when there are any.

You can also ask a question in the support forum on WordPress.org.

Browser support

The editor works in the browsers that WordPress itself supports: the latest two versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.

Frequently asked questions

Does the plugin make my website slower?

No. The plugin loads nothing on the front end of your website. Values are normal WordPress options, and options with Autoload on are loaded together with the other options of WordPress, in one query.

What happens to my values when I deactivate the plugin?

Nothing. The options stay in the database and get_option() keeps working. Only the options pages, the shortcode and the block bindings are gone until you activate the plugin again.

Can editors use the options pages?

Yes. Set User access level of a page to Editor. Only administrators can create and edit the pages themselves.

Can I move my pages to another site?

Yes, with their values. See Import and export.
